BrightBenefits expands executive leadership, sales team

BrightBenefits, a national benefits company, has expanded its executive leadership and added members to the sales team in the fourth quarter. BrightBenefits welcomes William Kramer and David Miller; under President Danny Bentley, and together with the rest of the leadership team, they will help drive the business, strategically positioning it in the marketplace, namely through dental and vision. 



William Kramer has joined BrightBenefits as Vice President of Sales. William is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the dental and vision space and has a proven track record of building and managing high performing sales teams. Prior to joining BrightBenefits, he was a Sr. Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of Starmount Life (aka. AlwaysCare Benefits). William began his insurance career at MetLife, where he was responsible for the top seven national broker and consultant relationships which resulted in annual premium of over $160M.  He has held various Senior Executive roles at Cigna, Reliance Standard and UNUM.

“William is an exceptionally driven business leader,” Bentley said. “He understands how to organize a team, capitalizing on individual strengths to deliver real results and provide what the client needs.”

Joining BrightBenefits as Vice President, National Accounts is David Miller. Recently, David served as CRO for the Tulsa-based digital health company, The Zero Card, where he developed and led client success and sales initiatives, including establishing a distribution channel strategy to open new markets. Prior to that, he held various executive positions, including Senior Vice President of Business Development and Board of Directors member for Emerge Diagnostics and CEO of Hospitals International. At Nueterra Global Alliance (NGA), David served as president and senior vice president of strategic planning and development as well as held other positions. He was also a president at Humana.


“David’s experience in business development with healthcare organizations will strengthen our position with national accounts; his insight will help us better understand what these large groups need and want, so that we can deliver solutions that adapt to this dynamic market,” Bentley said.
