One step away from PGA Tour

Man holds golf tournament cup after win

BrightBenefits' brand ambassador and pro golfer Davis Riley is now just one win away from the PGA Tour, winning his second Korn Ferry Tour victory of the year over the weekend at TPC San Antonio Championship at the Oaks

The Korn Ferry Tour serves as a developmental arm for the PGA Tour, where players have the opportunity to advance their status. With three wins, a player immediately earns a PGA Tour card. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Korn Ferry Tour created a merged 2020-2021 season, meaning players can move up at the end of next year's play, in Fall of 2021.

"I’m just trying to control the things I can, just to get better every week,” Davis says.

Davis won the Panama Championship in February. With 11 events remaining in this year's Korn Ferry Tour, he needs one more win to earn his PGA Tour card next fall.

"First, we want to congratulate Davis on this exciting victory," Danny Bentley, President of BrightBenefits, said. "When you are able to maintain the kind of focus and attitude that he does, in spite of global forces at work, you come out on top - and that is the spirit of the BrightBenefits brand. We wish Davis the best of luck in this year's remaining events and always."
